I thought so

I REALLY thought so. Tonight, I took the first step forward and had my firsthand experience in being a technical service representative. At exactly 6:00pm, I logged in to Avaya and with much hesitation pressed the Auto In button (meaning I will start receiving calls any moment from then on). For some unknown reason, I even became a little bored waiting for my turn to hear the "whisper" and two beeps so I can finally "officially" say my opening spiel.

We took in calls for the next two hours straight. We had buddies to help us handle the calls. Thank God! If I didn't have my buddy, I probably am crying somewhere by now. :)

********************************

My head aches so much. I'm waiting for 10pm so I can finally go home. I already want to take a rest. My head started to ache only after I took calls. Do you think that is a warning sign? Do you think I should just back out from this job? Should I just go back to being an e-mail/chat support? Honestly, I don't really know if I can handle this job. Just for everyone's information, I am not a technically inclined person even if I DID graduate with a course in BS. in Computer Science. I feel that I didn't even learn much from that course. Even if I fared well in school, that doesn't mean the information I learned was retained. I guess I have only myself to blame for my very poor memory.
